Obituary:
Bobby Dale “Ziggy” Randolph, 65 years of age, of Beatrice, passed away Thursday morning, March 4, 2010 at St. Elizabeth’s Regional Medical Center in Lincoln. He was born in Madisonville, KY on October 30, 1944 to Albert and Helen (Brown) Randolph. Bobby married Doris Payne on December 23, 1995. Bobby and Doris lived in Dawson Springs, KY before moving to Beatrice in 1996. Bobby was a Truck Driver for 35 years before retiring in 2001. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing, and wrestling. Bobby is survived by his wife, Doris Randolph of Beatrice; a son, Michael and Jennifer Randolph of Pikeville, KY; 3 daughters, April and Jeff Mast of South Bend, Indiana, Misty and Mike Wells of Dawson Springs, KY, Andrea and Chris Gilbertson of Beatrice; 11 grandchildren, Zachary, Cody, Austin, Sarah, Johnathan, Tyler, Sierra, Kyrsten, Curtis, Kaydence, and Riley; a brother Joe and Mary Randolph of Augusta, MO; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Roger; a brother Harlen; a sister, Joan Faye; and a step father, William Carroll.
Memorial:
A memorial has been established to the family’s choice with the funeral home in charge.
Cemetery:
Inurnment will be in the New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville, KY.
Visitations:
The body will lie in state from 2-9 PM on Monday, March 8, 2010 in the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel in Beatrice and one hour preceding the service at the church on Tuesday.
Services:
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in the Salvation Army Church in Beatrice with Captains Joshua and Rhegan Stansbury officiating.
