Obituary:

Mark H. Hayden, age 45 years, of Beatrice died Wed., Aug. 24, 2011 at his home.  He was born Oct. 21, 1965 at Big Spring, TX and spent his childhood in various places mostly throughout Texas while his father was in the U.S. Air Force.  He was employed by Sonic as a restaurant manager for 22 years in Texas and Nebraska, and was employed as a restaurant manager for Amigo’s in Nebraska for 10 years.  Mark married Cathy Schwahn on Sept. 7, 2002, and he has been a Beatrice resident for the past nine years.  His hobbies included boating, camping with his camper, fishing, and watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys.

Mark is survived by his wife Cathy; by three sons, Tyler Hayden of Hastings; Sean and Connor Hayden, both of the home; by three stepchildren, Samantha, Chris, and Austin West, all of the home; by a brother, Mike; and by five sisters, Cathy, Liz, Barbara, Virginia, and Laura, all of Texas; and by his parents-in-law, Pat and John Sieber of Lincoln; and Carla Schwahn of Seward.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William Michael and Virginia (Pounds) Hayden.

Memorial:

Memorial to the Mark Hayden Fund with the U. S. Bank, 200 N. 6th Street, Beatrice, in charge.

Visitations:

There will be no viewing but a register book will be available for signatures at the Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home, 505 N. 9th Street, Wymore,  from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Sunday with his family receiving friends from 5:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M., and at the church one hour preceding the service.   

Services:

Memorial service will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, Aug. 29, 2011 at the Wymore Church Of Christ, Hwy 77 & M Street, Clayton Lundstedt officiating.  The family requests casual dress for the service including “Fighting The Battle With The Haydens” tee shirts or wear something orange.
